Director of IBM Research to Provide Opening Keynote Presentation
Courtesy: (BUSINESS WIRE)-- The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina, announced today that Dr. John Kelly, senior vice president and director of IBM Research, will provide the opening keynote presentation for NCTA's Raleigh conference The State of Technology: Transforming the Way We Live, Work and Play. This one day conference will be held on Wednesday, May 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham.

At The State of Technology Conference, Dr. Kelly will provide an overview of how technology has improved processes and efficiencies, and in turn, transformed the way we do business.
The conference will explore how technology is transforming the way we live, work and play in five presentation segments. Presentations will focus on specific industries, including communications, energy, government solutions, healthcare and supply chain/logistics, and feature companies whose solutions have made a significant impact. The event provides a forum for technology executives to network and an exhibitor showcase.
