GCC Europe Expo is a new major two-day event taking place over the 12th and 13th of November 2008 at the Olympia Two Exhibition Hall in London, encompassing the ground floor and level one.GCC Europe Expo aims to facilitate bilateral trade and investment, and to help forge potentially thousands of new commercial relationships between EU and GCC businesses. Whilst providing a showcase for goods and services from the GCC, Europe and the UK, the Expo will also deliver a wide range of back-to-back seminars to inform, educate and promote bilateral trade.This is the first major event of its kind since " The GCC and Britain " exhibition, also organised by the ABCC in 1994, which was attended by the then British Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon Margaret Thatcher.Attending delegates at the GCC Europe Expo ' 08 will each have the exclusive opportunity to meet key industry representatives, all under one roof, over the course of the two days.Also scheduled to take place on the evening of 12th November 2008 is a Gala Dinner which will be attended by dignitaries from the GCC, Europe and the UK.The Expo will include over 150 exhibitors, a full two-day seminar programme, including cultural entertainment, and will feature specific European and GCC Country Regional Zones in the exhibition halls over both floors, accommodating up to 3,000 visitor delegates per-day!

Civils 2008

Civils was launched by New Civil Engineer in 1998 as a biennial show to highlight products and services available to the civil engineering industry.Following an immensely successful show at Olympia in 2007 last November, we're pleased to announce the new dates for Civils 2008. This year we're moving to a bigger and better venue and the show will take place on 18 - 20 November to Earls Court 2, which will be our new home for the forseeable future.Earls Court 2 offers improved facilities, better transport links, more space - and, perhaps most importantly, the event will be staged all on one level. This will make it easier for navigation and networking and so Civils will be more conducive for meeting people and doing business.Civils, at Earls Court Two, is the UK ' s largest exhibition to encompass the needs of the civil engineering industry while reflecting on opportunities available within the sector. Once again there will be a great focus on networking, responding to the way this industry likes to do business.It is supported by both New Civil Engineer, the UK ' s voice of the industry, and the Institution of Civil Engineers the key forums for the exchange of information and learning in the sector.Every aspect of the civil engineering industry is represented at the exhibition - from major industry clients through to a range of top quality contractors and consultants.
