Flavour of summer: contemporary African dance (open level)
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
This invigorating class will allow dancers to experience a synthesis of styles. Students will learn about contemporary African dance through these energetic and fun sessions.
Teacher's Biography
Francis Angol is Artisitc Director of leading contemporary African dance company Movement Angol. He has worked as a choreographer, performer and teacher for many years and regularly teaches contemporary African dance throughout London.

Fast-paced classes for advanced students aimed to stretch and challenge participants facility and versatility. Genevieve will teach a Graham class.
Teacher's Biography
An independent dancer, choreographer and teacher, Genevieve Grady presently teaches Graham-based technique on the BA programme at Laban and for Classes & Courses at The Place. She has performed throughout Canada, the US and Europe, including aerial projects, fusion and classical roles with Menaka Thakkar and Ritmo Flamenco, and site-specific and film work for Marlee Cargill.
Summer Intensives Contact Improvisation Open
Time: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
This class is open to all levels of ability offering participants the chance to learn the basics of contact improvisation. Throughout the five-days you will explore new ways of moving and develop your skills as a contact improviser.
